What is Measurement Based Care?

Measurement-based care (MBC) is an approach to behavioral health treatment that uses data to track client progress and outcomes. This data can then be used to inform treatment decisions, measure the effectiveness of care, and identify areas for improvement.

How does it work?

MBC for behavioral health involves using standardized assessments to track a patient's progress over time. These assessments can help clinicians identify areas of improvement and adjust treatment plans accordingly. By regularly measuring outcomes, clinicians can ensure that patients are receiving the most effective care possible. This approach has been shown to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.

Are these measures emperically tested?

Yes. The measures have been validated through many research studies. The assessments are designed to be reliable and valid measures of specific symptoms or conditions. This ensures that the assessments are accurate and useful for guiding treatment decisions.

be consistent.
it only works if
you do.

The assessments are customized to each individual. The frequency they are sent is determined by the severity of your symptoms and your course of treatment. It is very important to complete each assessment in a timely manner to ensure the most accurate results.

Simply put, we can't measure your progress unless the assessments are completed.
